Dr. James Stoxen DC ,CNN New York

Be sure to tune in Saturday, August 4th as Dr. James Stoxen DC is Interviewed by Shannon Cook about his treatment approach that helped  Anthony Field back to health.

Dr. Stoxen’s treatment approach, ‘The Human Spring Theory’, which states:

  1. The human spring stores mechanical energy therefore it is an efficiency mechanism.
  2. The human spring provides the protective mechanism for the body.
  3. The human spring allows us to land our bodies on uneven surfaces by adjusting the body weight over the spring mechanism so it can achieve optimum balance.
  4. And finally, The human spring is integrated into the biomechanics therefore it’s essential for stress and strain free motion.

Stoxen said, “I took the time to do a thorough examination of Field and was able to help him find the cause of his pain. Over time, the two of us began the healing process, which included preparing a training program to rebuild Field’s body.

Anthony Field and Dr. James Stoxen DC interviewed by CNN Shannon Cook.

Anthony Field, also known as the “Blue Wiggle” of the most popular and successful children’s performing act out of Australia, “The Wiggles,” was smiling in front of the cameras and the crowds, but grimacing in pain backstage.

Back in those days, Field, now 48, was also overweight and taking daily Valium and anti-inflammatory drugs for pain to get through the day. He said he was depressed and lost.

“I was eating poorly and I was slouching and not strengthening my core, and my back gave way and I got into a terrible cycle of pain. I didn’t know any better until chiropractors came into my life,” said Field.

Anthony shares about his inspiring, behind-the-scenes story of how he overcame depression, life-threatening illness and chronic pain to get his life back. In a healing memoir book entitled, How I Got My Wiggle Back.

Anthony delves into the details of his path to wellness in his book, ‘How I Got My Wiggle Back‘. The book, he said, is his tribute to chiropractic for preventing his life from a downward spiral.

“I feel like I can tell my story to teach people who have gone down the conventional  (health care) path and I can say, ‘Here is another way of getting there,’” said Field. “It’s not a path you hear (about) as much, day to day; I think people should know it’s always best to go the natural way.”
